History is full of stories that sound true and aren't. So we don't take anything on trust, including our own memory.
1. Sources first, script second
Before a single line of an episode is written, every claim is checked against sources we actually open and read: historians, museum and university collections, original records and reputable reference works.
2. The sources are public
Every episode lists its sources in the YouTube description. You never have to take our word for it. Look for yourself.
3. Myths are labelled as myths
When a famous story is false, we say so plainly, and we explain where the myth came from. When historians genuinely disagree, we tell you that too.
4. Mistakes get fixed
If you spot something wrong, tell us. We check it, correct it, and say what changed.
For parents and teachers
Our videos and books are made to be fun for kids and solid enough for grown-ups. Some true stories in history are serious, like war, and we tell them honestly and without gore.
